Good there wasn’t much of any interest anyway. From the police blotter you could get in the paper, to the warrant page that never changed, to pics of the station and officers that showed the individuals you needed to avoid in your life it was a waste of $. Although it featured a great pic of Chief Hollywood. For $5 a month fee to any numerous server rental sites and a 5th grade education this would get them back up to the site the NIPD had to take down for budget cuts. Do you actually think the New Ipswich Police has no access to the outside world via a high speed T1, dsl etc. Apparently the IT guy they were paying was the problem. Maybe they could use the http://www.townofnewipswich.org/ web access with an Ethernet connection or a wireless router for $30. The town site is still up.
Lets Translate (Not that you need any): You the tax payer were paying too much for the webmaster. Since the site did not utilize any PHP or SQL databases a 5th grader could have ran this site. Glad it’s gone! Don’t worry it’ll be back sooner or later- hopefully later.
